Components of TMS.

We believe that every apprentice of Jesus needs to be equipped to lead a lifetime of effective ministry, regardless of vocational expression, so that the local church would flourish and thrive.

TMS is a two year program with four distinct emphases: Bible and theology, leadership development,
spiritual formation, and missional action.

All students will participate in one six-week spiritual formation course, followed by a six-week Bible and theology course. The initial course is designed to cover core aspects of spiritual formation, while the Bible course is designed to support theological and biblical revelation and application. Together, both serve to ultimately create practical growth and training in the student’s leadership and missional action, while simultaneously strengthening devotion to Jesus.

  • We believe a strong foundation in God’s Word is essential for every Christian leader. We engage in dynamic, Spirit-filled teaching, designed to expand our knowledge and experience of Scripture and its relevance to everyday life. We explore key theological themes, wrestle with real questions, and train students to think critically and biblically about culture and calling. Our goal is not just to fill minds with information, but to ignite hearts with revelation. Students leave with a love for God’s Word, a solid theological framework, and the confidence to teach and live out the truth with clarity and conviction.

  • Ministry goes far beyond theory—it’s a lived experience. Our students are regularly immersed in environments where they can encounter the transformative presence of God and grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We gather for times of ministry in a space for students to listen to God’s voice, respond to His leading, and actively minister to others.

  • We are committed to forming students who have their inner lives rooted in God’s presence and who lead from a place of deep connection with Him. Students are led in rhythms of prayer, worship, reflection, and spiritual disciplines that ground them in God’s love and truth. Spiritual formation is not just a subject—it’s a lifestyle. Through both personal and communal practices, students learn to cultivate a life of intimacy with Jesus, grow in emotional and spiritual maturity, and develop a resilient faith.

  • We draw out the God-given leadership potential in every student by equipping them with both spiritual depth and practical skills. We foster a culture of high invitation and high challenge—where encouragement, accountability, and calling go hand in hand. Our goal is to raise up leaders who are Christ-centered, courageous, and capable of making an impact in every area of life and ministry.

  • We intentionally create space for students to build deep, authentic relationships with one another as they journey through life and faith together. This includes shared meals and intentional conversations, community evenings, mission trips, and ministry trips. We believe in doing life together—celebrating, serving, and taking faith risks in a safe, Spirit-led environment. Students are encouraged to use their unique gifts to build one another up, creating a culture of unity, joy, and mutual empowerment.

  • Adam Meckelborg

    TMS Director

Hey! I’m Adam. I grew up in a Christian home, but it all became real when I encountered Jesus at 18. I have a passion to seek revival and awakening in the church through prayer, teaching and discipleship.

My greatest joy is equipping people for a lifetime of fruitful ministry, no matter where God calls them.

My favourite part of my role here is hands down the community. We have such a special crew, and I am always amazed at what God is doing in and through them.

On a personal note: I’m married to my sweetheart, Addi. I love golf so much, even though I’m not that good at it. My greatest ambition in life is to be a man
    of prayer.

  • Josh & Erin Lam

    Student Experience Coordinators

The Lams are some of the best culture builders out there. They are strong leaders whose hearts burn for people and the presence of God. They are problem solvers and idea generators and have an incredible ability to solidify and catalyze growth in community. They bring a pure heart of worship to the community and care deeply about encounter with Holy Spirit.
